February 2016 in pictures

The shortest month of the year was pact with events- 3 birthdays, Chinese New Year, exhibitions, design show, coffee dates and walks. It was a month of celebrations- the friendships, the arts and the end of the winter!

February began with Surface Design Show- a three day event dedicated to all kinds of surfaces- I like to visit events and learn new methods/materials/approaches even if its not something I can directly apply to my work. It helps to stretch the boundaries of my creative thinking.

Also, for the first time in my life I've been to Pina Bausch ballet. I fell in love. Instantly. Forever. And that's not love at first sight. I've seen several performances on screen and had mixed feelings. But after seeing the show live left me speechless and driven emotionally!  A-ma-zing!

I've managed to get to see The world of Charles and Ray Eames  just before the exhibition closed in mid February. Visiting exhibitions is probably my favourite "learning technique".  I love to just browse through rooms and explore in my own pace.

Last but not least memory to keep about this February- is the exhibition at The Photographers Gallery - works of my favourite Saul Leiter- one of the greatest photographers. I'm sure I'll visit again before it closes in April.

And, of course - I kept exploring London's streets and corners!
