It snowed a little on that wintery day and we decided to hike up the Ben A’an - a small hill in the heart of Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. For the most part of the hike, the spectacular views were covered in a thick fog blanket only revealing the naked trees near the path. It felt a bit mystical that the fog has forced us to look and appreciate the intricacies of what was literally in front of us. How magnificent is this simple, sculptural form of a tree?!
