A Weekend Getaway in Cambridge, UK
The last days of May I spent in Cambridge. Cloudy, with few showers - chill weather does not remind you that summer is just around the corner, however I find this weather perfect for browsing streets of Cambridge- its like a granddad- the old and moody, intelligent and grumpy, but overall very charming and cosy- that's how I would describe my first impression of the character of the city. The city is very dynamic - bicycles are parked everywhere, and it seems all generations are using this type of transport. Every corner has a story to tell, the atmosphere here motivates to open up the book and learn something new. When I visit new town for the first time, I like to browse its streets and 'feel' the town - its energy, its people. Cambridge is very unique, with special, magical atmosphere, it has huge amount of energy due to the student activities, charming cafes and stores, there is so much to discover over and over- perfect getaway for the weekend!
